    POLLINATOR EDUCATION PROGRAM

Did you know, cross-pollination helps at least 30 percent of the world's crops and 90 percent of our wild plants to thrive? Without bees to spread pollen, many plants, including food crops, would die off! We are rapidly approaching the point of no return!

It is our mission to better educate the young, and young at heart, on the importance of our pollinators, and the role we all play in the survival or demise of the honeybee. By helping people better understand the vital role bees play in our own survival, we are certain everyone will come away with a new appreciation for the noble honeybee.

Those in attendance will be fully emersed in bee life, inside and outside the hive.  We will also use volunteers from the audience to demonstrate bee communication and pollination in a fun-filled way which is sure to be all the buzz.  The following topics are covered in an engaging, and fully interactive, hour-long presentation, including a Q&A session.

    • Bees and Our Food

    • The Importance of Bees

    • How a Hive Works

    • Honeybee Jobs

    • The Pollination Process

    • The Waggle Dance

    • How Bees Make Honey

    • Why the Bees are Disappearing

    And much more...

Don't pass up this opportunity to have your students learn about good stewardship, and how even the smallest of creatures can have a positive and life-changing impact on the world around them!

Prices begin at $150 for a 1-hour presentation plus setup and takedown.

A $50 travel fee applies outside a 30-mile radius from the apiary.
